I still, to this day have been unable to embed links into my posts. Can someone, anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong. There is a little button at the top of the page that I am typing on right now to embed a link, but when I do what it tells me, nothing shows up. This has annoyed me since this little web page came into existence, whenever it came into existence.

Because I cannot embed this, just copy and paste it. It is very good and gets at the heart of the one major issue that is disheartening me about the Obama administration. There are a few issues that get to the core of what it is that I believe in, and why I voted the way I voted. Near the very top of that list is Civil Rights for people of all sexual prefences.
I am a realist and I understand that the President has a limited amount of political capital to spend and that Public Health Care needs to be at the top of his list of priorities. I get that.
But the part of me that cried every time he spoke leading up to the election. The part of me that still gets excited when I hear him speak, that part of me needs to hear him come out, strong on this issue.
Just keep hammering on the fact that this is a civil rights issue. This is not religious, this is not about what your book of stories says about marriage being between a man and a woman. This is about Inalienable Rights.

Time Bomb
Live from the Beacon Theatre
I am feeling this today.
Late softball game last night, couldn't fall asleep until very late.
On a side note, it dawned on me that I am much, much funnier when I write then when I speak. This was brought to my attention recently. I need to write more, I just struggle to come up with things that are the least bit interesting.
The conclusion I drew was to just writer whatever the hell came to my mind, regardless of relevance.
I finished "Mistborn: The Final Empire" last night, for the second time. Sweet book. Read it.

GrooGrux
I realize this is getting a tad redundant at this point. I just feel very passionate about this album. I stuck with them through Everyday. I actually enjoyed most of Stand Up. I have held on through the bad years. I saw the video of Carter getting pissed at Dave mid-concert.
I feel like this album is the validation of a career of work. I feel like my fandom is being justified.
Seriously, take the time to watch the whole concert I posted below, or go:

And this album will punch you in the face.
Fuck You Glen Ballard.
Part 1 was last night and Avi and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Congratulations guys, you proved to the world that you continue to be counted among the best bands on the planet.
It's Why I Am.

Terminator, Salvation
I took myself to see this Saturday night. I was not disappointed. It was exactly what I thought it was. I enjoyed the hell out of it. And in a weird twist of irony, I found myself cheering for the robot, which is crazy.
So far, I would rank it ahead of Wolverine but behind the awesomeness that was Star Trek.
The Summer of Movies continues.
I'm Like You Tom, I'm Different
My excitement is building for this.
I am on record having said that the 5th movie was head and shoulders the best of the lot. I still have issues with the series in film. Most of my issues center on Michael Gambon and his refusal to read the books. If he were to read them, I am sure he would come to the same conclusion that I have, the dude sucks as Dumbledore.
The Summer of the Movie continues.
