The Bucs are a whopping 61 million under the salary cap, so here is to hoping that they begin adding pieces instead of continuing to remove them.

There is no such thing as clean coal. Period. I love you Mr. Obama but please stop repeating this lie to placate the coal lobby.

"Who's My Favorite Player?"

I would be lying if I said I was not suprised, disappointed, and sad that the Buccaneers decided to cut ties with 11-time Pro Bowler, and lifetime Buccaneer Derrick Brooks yesterday. Brooks was the type of player who you would forget was on your team because he did his job with such a quiet professionalism and was so good at doing it that you just grew comfortable knowing he was there.

The Buccaneers also cut ties with former Walter Peyton Man of the Year Warrick Dunn, for the second time yesterday. Basically it was a really sad day for me as a Bucs fan.

I am high on Penn State already. It is February. The Mets are playing their first spring training game of the year today, and I am thinking about Penn State Football. Weird.

Gov Jindal's enterance with an audible "Oh God" from what I assumed at the time was Keith Olbermann which is Hilarious. I was actually thinking the same thing as he made his Mr. Jindal's Neighborhood enterance.

Bobby Jindal (real name Piyush Jindal) which if I were a crazy right wing nut-bag would sound an awful lot like a Terrorists Name (you know, like how Barack Obama must be a Terrorist Manchurian Candidate because his name sounds like Osama) is a joke to me. Abortion and stem cell research
Jindal has a 100% pro-life voting record according to the National Right to Life Committee. He does not condemn medical procedures meant to save the life of a pregnant woman that would indirectly cause the termination of the pregnancy. In 2003 Jindal was reported to have stated that he did not object to the use of emergency contraception in the case of rape if the victim requests it. He opposes embryonic stem cell research[36] and voted against increasing federal funding to expand embryonic stem cell lines.


Same-sex marriage
Jindal opposes the legalization of same-sex marriage, and has voted for the Federal Marriage Amendment to restrict marriage to a union between one man and one woman. In December 2008, Jindal announced the formation of the Louisiana Commission on Marriage and Family, including individuals representing organizations that oppose same-sex marriage, including Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, Gene Mills, the executive director of the Louisiana Family Forum and Mike Johnson, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund.

Civil liberties
Jindal voted yes on making the PATRIOT Act permanent, voted in favor of the 2006 Military Commissions Act, supported a constitutional amendment banning flag burning, and voted for the Real ID Act of 2005. Jindal has an "A" rating from Gun Owners of America.

Intelligent design
Jindal supports the teaching of "intelligent design" in public schools. Despite calls for a veto from groups as diverse as the the Roman Catholic Church, the ACLU, the National Review, and Jindal's own biology professors at Brown University. Jindal signed the Louisiana Academic Freedom Act in 2008.

Consider this my official endorsement of Jindal for the Republican Ticket in 2012. He represents every back-asswards social issue that Repbulicans are losing ground on.

Consider Governor Jindal the Token Dark-Skinned Dude (Other than Michael Steele, the Token Black Dude) of the Republican Party. The annoying part of this clip is that it does not contain his enterance, which was brutal beyond measure. He sort of walked around the corner, with that weird smile on his face that led one to wonder what exactly he was doing off camera.

I actually laughed out loud during this. Good God I hope he and Palin run in 2012. Obama will shred these two.

President Obama's Address to Congress

For me this might have been his best moment so far. Following the Inauguration I have sort of tuned out National Politics. I have just trusted that he has got things taken care of.

Last night he was bigger than the room, bigger than himself but also able to joke with the members of Congress. I have never in my adult life-time experienced anything like this. I hate the "Clean-Coal" talk (for the record there is no such thing) but besides that he was incredible.
