This is How You Handle Fucking Pirates

Get your shit together.

You've Already Lost

What you fail to see here is that you have already lost. This battle is over because the people who you would hope would be fighting for you don't care enough to fight anymore.

New York Governor David Patterson announced yesterday that he will once again propose a same-sex marriage bill in New York. Joe Robach, expect some calls from me.

You have already lost

My Generation Does Not Care

Thank You Satan

Keith

I love Keith and this was him at his absolute best. His absolute best ever.

Santana

Why I love Santana.

I love Santana

The Dawning of a New Day

Santana pitched brilliantly. Left the game in the 5th after throwing 99 pitches and striking out seven. The mets were clining to a slim lead... Wait, I have seen this film before, I hate how it ends.

Ahh..but this is the directors cut, alternate ending. In the 2009 version Sean Green (not the Jewish guy), J.J. Putz and K-Rod pitched 3 1/3 innings allowing no hits and more importantly no runs.

Seriously? This is awesome.

The Mets collapsed the last three years because a terrible bullpen put pressure on everyone to perform at a level that they simply could not. The hitters ground their bats into saw dust knowing that no lead was big enough. The starters were so worried about handing the game over to the pen that they put themselves repeatedly in situations that led to failure.

All of that is done now. 2009 is awesome.

Opening Day

Although the weather may not feel like it, today is in fact opening day. And with that I think it is time to roll out what has become a bit of tradition around here on the Head.

One of the all-time great moments in baseball.

I spent way way too long on pre-season predictions last year so let me run through this a bit faster this year.

AL East

Red Sox-Too much pitching
Rays- Too good and young
Yankees-400 million just doesn't buy what it used to. Mariano's arm will fall off eventually
Orioles-Heading in the right direction
Jays-Heading in the wrong direction, except for hottie Alex Rios

AL Central

Literally throw all five teams in a hat, I blew this one last year big time

Twins- Too much pitching
Indians- Can Hafner and V-Mart bounce back?
Kansas City- Call me crazy
Detroit- What happend here last year
White Sox- Not a huge fan of this club, sorry Obama

AL West

Oakland- Trendy pick but I have liked them longer than Buster Effin Olney
Texas- Too many huge bats
Los Angeles Angels of Anihiem, Orange County, California, The West Coast, The United States, North America, the Western Hemisphere, The World, The Solar System, The Galaxy- I just think they are going to take a step back
Seattle- They suck

NL East

Mets-Don't give me all this "Ghosts of the past" crap. They blew up two years in a row because they didn't have a bullpen. Now they have the best bullpen in baseball.
Braves- eh
Phillies- Who exactly is in their rotation besides Cole Hammels
Marlins-I really dislike this team
Washington- Still crappy

NL Central

Cubs- Stil the best in division
Cardinals- I love this rivalry
Reds- Getting better with a young staff
Brewers- Will miss Sabthia and Sheets
Houston- Kinda Crap
Pittsburgh- Really Crap

NL West

Doders- Who else is in this division
Arizona-Eh
Colorado- Will miss Holliday
San Fran- Much Improved, may have listed them too low. Watch out LA
San Diego- Which of course means a Whale's Vagina

So there you have it. I have about as much Cred on this subject as Buster Fricken Olney and Steve Phillips and somehow they get paid a ton more than I do.

Xeno Lovegood

www.the-leaky-cauldron.org is reporting that they have cast Xeno Lovegood's character for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows double feature.

In my opinion they could not have chosen better. Xeno is a tragic character, and spike is as tragically Punk Rock as they come.

It's Like Tipping a Rapist

Sorry I have not been posting more. School is kicking me in the balls right now. Actually it kicks me in the balls, turns around like it is going to walk away and leave me alone, and just as I let my guard down it turns around, runs full speed at me and cracks me in the balls again.

Needless to say, my balls are sore.

Buy my motorcycle.
