That One!

Quick Debate reactions.

1. Obama won, again. This was supposed to be John McCain's strong suit, he begged Obama to do town halls, and while Obama was calm, honest, spoke directly to the people, talked directly to the viewers at home, McCain was Skulking, whispery, he referred to me one to many times as his friend, and he flat out lost.

2. McCain turned his back on the black woman who asked him a question while he was still mid-answer. He rudely corrected the young black man who asked the question about the bailout plan shouting "Rescuse" at him, and blantantly refussed to shake hands with Obama at the end of the debate:

In what was the worst moment of the Debate for Smeagol/Gollum, he referred to Senator as "That One!" which goes beyond just a hint of condescention and racsim. Replace "One" with which ever racial epithet you choose, and it is ugly. Like the McCain/Palin campaign has become.

I don't know that John McCain hates black people, but he clearly does not like Senator Obama.

In his view, he problaby sees Obama as someone who has not earned the right to take this away from him.

His tone was pleading last night, specifically when he talked about Bin Laden. Saying, "I'll Get 'em, trust me I'll get 'em" "I can do it, you know I can do it". That may be John, but what you are not telling the American people is what you will do to "do it".

He was shifty and waddling, he lurked in the background while Obama was talking. He made a few uncomfortable jokes. He said when asked by Brokaw, who would be your finance secretary: "Not you Tom". He made another weird joke about hair replacements. His Comb-over looked thinner and more ridiculous than ever.

Obama hit him hard on his "Speak softly and carry a big stick" line.

McCain has at least three heroes in his life, Reagan, Teddy Roosevelt, and David Patreaus.

Not one word about Sarah Palin. Not one word about the Middle Class.

He did that thing again where he through out wild policy plans with no explaination and no prior knowledge of that being his platform. I refer to this as "The Monkey Throwing Shit Agaist the Wall Because it Keeps His Tiny Reptilian Brain Happy" Strategy.

What McCain needs, if winning is the goal, is to change the story line, which is that Obama is walking out the door with this election.

He did not do that last night. Period. The Debate was actually a little boring. Which is a major win for Senator Obama.
