Appaloosa

Not to get all Film Critic-y, but the modern western has been reborn. To me classic Westerns are terrible. I don't need to see the guy in the white hat save the town and ride off (and in Shane's case, die). "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" changed the landscape of Westerns. The final scene of "TGTBTU" was the first to use close camera shots to show emotion in a western. This technique has been replicated in films like "Tombstone":

Don't even talk to me about "Wyatt Erp", it does not exist to me.

3:10 To Yuma once again recreated the world of Westerns:

Appaloosa looks awesome.
